Initial Medical has launched peppermint scented gloves. The company has designed the gloves specifically for the dental market in order to improve patient experience.
Initial Medical, a clinical waste management and infection control expert company, is supplying the gloves to the dental sector. The gloves – ‘Unigloves Green LANO-E’ – are 100% latex, low allergy and rated medical grade AQL 1.5. They are also fully textured for increased grip and offer high protection. The peppermint scent of the gloves is hoped to reassure patients they are being examined in a clean, safe environment and therefore improve their dental experience.
Dental workers are more prone to dermatitis, because of prolonged glove use and repeated hand washing. Unigloves green LANO-E contain a microfilm of Lanolin and Vitamin E to sooth and soften the hands of the wearer.
