MeTime, the new app that connects users with medical professionals who provide cosmetic services, has partnered with the alternative credit provider humm. The partnership means MeTime app users will be able to use the Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) service seamlessly for procedures up to £30,000.
Since launching in the UK and Ireland this year, MeTime has developed a network of clinics and professionals that can assess and communicate remotely with consumers who seek non-surgical or surgical aesthetic treatments. The consumer-centric app allows them to upload photos, match with the right provider, and simply wait for in-app recommendations before booking. The partnership with humm will reduce any remaining friction by simplifying the buying process.
MeTime has ambitious plans to disrupt the aesthetic market by creating a smooth and confusion-free customer experience. Current, disjointed processes in communication are clunky and outdated. MeTime replaces confusing directories and online searches by allowing users to connect with multiple professionals simultaneously and getting tailored feedback without making calls or attending physically. When the humm integration is released this year, clinics using MeTime will be able to offer the split-payment solution through the app to more patients that wish to pay for their procedures over time.
MeTime founder Peter Prendergast said: “Our partnership with humm is a significant step toward achieving our goal of an unrivalled customer experience for our users. We already give people access to advice and recommendations in a fast and seamless way. Now, we will be removing another barrier for customers and clinics doing business which is financing. We’re delighted to be partnering with an established, responsible and progressive credit provider like humm for the UK and Ireland markets and see it as an important step for rapid growth.”
