Introducing: Hamilton Fraser Cosmetic Insurance

July 10, 2015 by CarlFrascina

Hamilton Fraser Cosmetic Insurance was the first commercial insurance provider to offer indemnity insurance specifically tailored to the needs of the aesthetic industry in 1996. As the insurers of choice for thousands of practitioners, Hamilton Fraser Cosmetic Insurance is always looking to build new relationships whilst continuously working alongside leading organisations, manufacturers, distributers and Recognised Training Courses within the United Kingdom.

FACE-34

One example is the recently formed partnership with the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses (BACN). The attendance of various industry events such as Aesthetic Medicine Live and the Facial Aesthetic Conference and Exhibition (FACE) 2015 highlights the company’s commitment within the industry.

Eddie Hooker, CEO of Hamilton Fraser Cosmetic Insurance, said:

“As a regular exhibitor of industry events, Hamilton Fraser Cosmetic Insurance is able to share our knowledge of 18 years of experience within the cosmetic industry, by speaking to delegates who attend the events and even discuss matters with our current clients. We feel this is a great way to present ourselves, and we will continue striving to raise standards within the industry.

“We want to be out there, face to face with practitioners and working alongside organisations to be involved with the latest developments in the industry, share knowledge and be involved with networking opportunities.

“We are very proud to work closely with key industry experts and associations within the industry to educate practitioners with many of the business aspects of running a successful aesthetic clinic.”

From best practice of handling claims to the consenting of your patients, Hamilton Fraser Cosmetic Insurance is committed to helping doctors, dentists, nurses, surgeons and any other practitioner to avoid any potential claims. The experienced cosmetic and claims team present themselves and these topics at industry events, in order to share their expertise within this field by actively co-operating and engaging within the market.

At the recent, much anticipated FACE conference, Hamilton Fraser Cosmetic Insurance hosted two workshops in attendance with Marketform and Bevan Brittan. Educating practitioners is one of the cornerstones of the company, which is why the company offered delegates the opportunity to learn and discuss any issues with the team. Two presentations which stood at the centre of our exhibition presence showcased two key industry topics, ‘The Anatomy of a Claim’ and ‘Insurance for Beauty Therapists and Laser Technicians’.

Building on the success of this conference, Hamilton Fraser Cosmetic Insurance has announced that the company will be attending the Clinical Cosmetic Reconstructive Expo (CCR Expo) 2015 which is a major-scale cosmetic event uniting various industry practitioners.

This is a great opportunity to network with surgical and non-surgical communities including Aesthetic Nurses, Doctors and Surgeons in order to share our knowledge of aesthetic and cosmetic insurance, clinic insurance and medical malpractice insurance.

Additionally, for the first time in its history, the CCR Expo will be held alongside The British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons 31st Annual Scientific meeting which also gives Hamilton Fraser Cosmetic Insurance a great opportunity to discuss our range of insurance policies designed specifically for plastic surgeons.

The team will be located at Stand D91 over the two days, surrounded by an internationally renowned faculty of highly respected experts who will be presenting CPD accredited lectures, talks, panel discussions and debates.
Please don’t hesitate to come and speak to us throughout the UK’s largest medical aesthetic exhibition, where our experienced team will be available to provide you with valuable information and literature to share the company’s specialist knowledge in providing policies that meet the demands of cosmetic practitioners.

STEREX To Attend CCR Expo in October

July 2, 2015 by CarlFrascina

By Laura Casewell

STEREX – the UK’s leading provider of thermolysis equipment – has announced they will be exhibiting at this year’s CCR Expo in October.

Nicky Burgess, Sales and Marketing Manager for STEREX, says the brand is looking forward to showcasing their unique products and discussing the benefits of themolysis with doctors, surgeons and nurses alike.

“Everyone here at STEREX is delighted to be exhibiting at CCR this year, and hopefully re-educating visitors about the benefits of offering thermolysis within a clinical setting. It’s not just about hair removal like many have been led to believe; our products can also treat various skin issues including thread veins and milia,” Nicky says.

“Many clinics purchase expensive ‘latest craze’ equipment along with a long term leasing plan but to regain that money there has to be a lot of client interest in that particular treatment. We hope to remind visitors that STEREX offers both cost effective products and outstanding training, allowing clinicians to run a successful and safe service.”

Founded in 1982, Birmingham-based STEREX invented the first disposable sterilised two piece electrolysis needle effectively ensuring that electrolysis became a one-use needle treatment. STEREX products of excellence quickly established them as a leading brand and they have steadfastly retained this position, becoming a global name.

“Not content with this, we constantly strengthened our lead by exploring and developing into new avenues including epilation units, products and education,” says Nicky.

“Our product portfolio grew quickly as we gained a vast understanding of the skin and now we offer a comprehensive product range designed especially for the skin both pre and post epilation. We know the CCR Expo visitors will find our services as exciting as we do.”

If you’re thinking of offering thermolysis at your clinic call STEREX on 0121 7082404 or visit www.sterex.com
