An American plastic surgeon attributes the change in attitude to competitiveness with careers.
Cosmetic treatments for men have seen a surge in the past decade, and top of the list are Botox and Blepharoplasty. These treatments are said to be popular with men because of their restorative properties and the more youthful appearance they can evoke.
American plastic surgeon Cori Agarwal said: “The reason that they state when they come in is they need to look their best in a competitive job market.”
“Sometimes they’re competing with people who are 10 years younger than them, and they want to look more youthful.”
