Advanced Esthetics Solutions introduces the first 270W Alexandrite/Nd:YAG blended laser with a Square Spot

January 9, 2017 by CarlFrascina

Leading aesthetic product company adds Square Epil to its growing portfolio of non-surgical devices.

The latest addition to the Advanced Esthetics Solutions portfolio of non-surgery energy-assisted devices has been revealed.

copy-of-squareepilmachineThe Square Epil – now available from AES – is the world’s most powerful blended laser with the first ever square spot, built in smoke evacuator and self replacement lamp system.

Receiving rave reviews from aesthetic professionals, the Square Epil offers high comfort during treatment sessions, and minimised downtime with safe and long-lasting results. Combining both wavelengths enables the practitioner to treat all skin types at speeds that are 3 x faster than its rivals.

The Square Epil has a double energy source, Alex+Yag, and has a pulse repetition of up to 3Hz. There are two options: a circular spot size up to 30mm, and a square spot size up to 27x27mm, allowing aesthetic professionals to treat a body surface equal to 14.5cm2 per second at 20J/cm2 of fluence.

The combination of Alexandrite and Nd:YAG allows the treatment of all skin’s phototypes, from I to VI, allowing the use of the device for any time of year. The one-of-a-kind BEM (Blended Emission Mode) technology allows clinicians to selectively use one laser source or combine laser beams, depending on the individual needs of patients.

  • Hair Removal
  • Vascular Lesions
  • Benign Pigmented Lesions
  • Non-Ablative Photorejuvenation
  • Anti-Ageing
  • Warts
  • Onychomycosis

Square Epil is the latest laser from the Bios range of single lasers and multifunctional platforms based on a long pulse Alexandrite combined with long and short pulse Nd:YAG laser.

Bodyvie in Richmond, London, is the first aesthetic clinic in the U.K. to be offering the Bios Square Epil. Dr Weber from Bodyvie says:

“We are privileged to be the first clinic in the UK to offer what is probably the most powerful and fastest hair removal system in the world! Incredible versatility coupled with spot sizes ranging from 1mm to 30mm and the ability to fire up to 3 times per second; the Bios Square Epil is the Aston Martin, Rolls Royce and Bentley of lasers.”

Douglas Sykes, Managing Director of Advanced Esthetics Solutions, says:

“The Square Epil is one of the most exciting new generation of lasers to be produced, with 270W of power, a 30mm spot size producing 14.5cm2 per second enabled the practitioner to treat a full body in less than 35 minutes. The ability to change the lamp in less than one minute without the need of a call out to an engineer is truly remarkable.

“The UK has experienced an influx of discounting schemes creating a complete new culture in consumer spending – this in turn has somewhat suppressed laser hair removal prices in the last few years. The Square Epil’s ability to carry out the treatments in fraction of the time introduces back the profit margins we enjoyed years ago; the Square Epil is truly the highest return on investment on any laser out there.”

The Square Epil is available from AES now.
